At Trego School we understand that home school educators are educators, people who care deeply about education, and who have valuable contributions to make to education. We acknowledge that our mission is to serve the education of all K-8 students in our districts, regardless of enrollment status.
Public schools offer a variety of opportunities to students, and we would like for those opportunities to be available to home school students as well. For example, Trego School hosts free vision and hearing screenings, will host a free dental cleaning later this year, in addition to demonstrations from the fire department and guest speakers. We do ask, just as we would for classes joining from another school district, that home school students be accompanied by a teacher or chaperone when joining our events.
If you would like to be on our email list and receive news and invitations when we have events, extracurricular activities, or field trips available, please contact Sam (clerk@tregoschool.org), or Cindy (ccarrell@tregoschool.org), give us a call, or send us a FB message. Trego School also allows for partial enrollments. Let us know if we can help meet your family’s needs.
A reminder: Lincoln County's Superintendent Suzy Rios is also a resource for all families, not just those attending school. Additionally, the homeschool notice of intent form can be found on the county website.
